What they want from you is more bets, so they can earn a commission (if you think how much the server maintenance is, staff salary, overheads, that's only fair). You can choose which products you want to be excluded from or whether you want to be excluded from the site as a whole. This action cannot be reversed under any circumstances.

Player's Complaint
I opened an account in Betfair, deposited 200 with card, won 4800, withdrew 300. Then I deposited with Skrill and withdrew, but had my account closed. I just wanted to get my funds faster, I don't mind if I get paid by card.

I've spoken to the Betfair team about this issue. They've requested that you provide proof of address (a utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months) and a land line on which you can be reached. Before anything else can be done you need to provide this information.
